Nor Adilah Mohd Fauzi

Prior to embarking her career in the intellectual property industry, Adilah was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya in 2016, where she gained extensive knowledge in both criminal and civil litigations.
At IP SENSE, Adilah plays a crucial role in assisting individuals and businesses protect their brands and intellectual property rights in a competitive marketplace. Equipped with legal knowledge, analytical, communication and negotiation skills, business acumen and technology proficiency, Adilah’s responsibilities include:
- Trademark Search and Clearance: Conducting comprehensive searches and providing advice on registrability and availability of a proposed trademark in a particular jurisdiction
- Trademark Registration: Assisting clients in filing trademark applications with the appropriate governmental agencies in Malaysia and foreign jurisdictions
- Prosecution: Managing the trademark application process, including attending to objection(s) raised in an office action and communicating with trademark examiners
- Enforcement: Advising clients on protecting their trademark rights and coordinating with legal counsel on infringement or unauthorized use
- Portfolio Management: Managing clients’ trademark portfolios, which may involve monitoring for potential infringement, renewing registrations, and advising on strategies for maximizing trademark protection
- Drafting various trademark-related documents and agreements
Apart from her trademark practice, Adilah also handles matters concerning industrial design registration, geographical indication and voluntary copyright notification procedures.
In her free time, Adilah combines her love for exploring diverse culinary experience with a passion for travel. She takes pleasure in discovering new and interesting restaurants, relishing the flavors of different cuisines both locally and during her adventures to various destinations.
